My name is Matthew Ontiveros Burt and I was born in Fort Collins, Colorado. My hobbies and interests include playing music, traveling, playing poker, going to the gym, snowboarding, boating, reading, Star Wars, Marvel Comics, and of course, computer programming! I play a few instruments but mostly play the piano these days though I have experience playing the violin and guitar. I attended Colorado State University for my undergrad where I studied Liberal Arts. After school I worked in a variety of different fields and ultimately ended up working in Aero-Space manufacturing then COVID-19 hit. It was during this time that I dove deeper into coding and it was in that time that my ambition of becoming a developer was spawned.
This project is a mock e-commerce store called "Really Good Fake Store"." I worked with a team to develop this full-stack application that allows the user to view products and add them to a cart when logged in. Because E-commerce websites make up about 10% of the internet. Our goal was to build this mock store with our current coding skills to create something similar to what we might see in the feild.

This project is called "Weather Dashboard." On this project I devloped an application that allows the user to input a city and be given current and up to date weather information as well as a five day forecast.

This project is called "Work Day Scheduler." On this project I devopled an application to act as a day planner for the user. The user is can input daily events and save them. The background color of the text-areas changes with time of day indicating to the user if it is present past or future allowing for easy planning.
